Our dictionary is finite, but the Thai language is not. If a word is missing, you can request it: a language model will assemble a full dictionary entry, which will remain on the site for everyone.

How to Request
Three paths, all leading to the same place:
- From the Request AI Analysis page — enter the word or phrase manually;
- From search, when nothing is found — the ✦ Ask AI to analyze "..." button; → How to search

You can enter more than just Thai: English or Russian words are also accepted if you want to find out how they are said in Thai.
Before creating a request, the system will check if the word already exists in the dictionary or in pending requests and will simply open the completed one. This makes it difficult to create duplicates.
While the Analysis is Processing
The page will open immediately and update automatically. Statuses:

Usually, this takes 10–30 seconds. You can close the tab: when the analysis is finished, you will receive a notification via Telegram or a browser push notification, if you have them enabled. → Telegram and notifications
The number of simultaneous analyses depends on the user role: regular users can process one at a time, while editors and administrators can process more. Therefore, during mass requests, words will be queued.
The Result
The completed entry is structured almost like a regular dictionary entry. → How to read a dictionary entry
- Normalized spelling, transcription in Latin and Cyrillic, and IPA. We always recalculate the romanization using our own romanizer rather than taking it from the model: this ensures it is guaranteed to be in the same format as the rest of the dictionary.
- Type — word, compound word, phrase, or sentence.
- Components with an analysis of each morpheme.
- Meaning — provided in both Russian and English simultaneously. → Russian and English together
- Meanings by part of speech, up to four, with classifiers and examples.
- Etymology — in a collapsed block.
- Example sentences.
- Educational examples — a separate set divided by difficulty. You will not see these on the page: they are used for training to build flashcards. → Training
Obsolete Words
If the model considers a word obsolete, a warning and the label obs. will appear at the top, along with Modern variant: and a link. This is useful because old textbooks and dictionaries often contain words that sound strange in the living language.
How Much Can You Trust This?
The honest answer: it is a good draft, not the absolute truth.
Every entry has a label:

AI most often makes mistakes with tones, rare meanings, and the naturalness of examples. Meanings and components are usually correct.
Therefore: if an entry is marked only as an AI analysis and the word is important to you, cross-reference it with the Royal Institute Dictionary block on the same page, if available. This is an academic source and takes precedence.

Re-analysis
The ↻ Re-analyze button restarts the analysis and allows you to attach a hint — for example, "the tone of the second syllable is incorrect" or "add an example in a formal style."
This button is available to editors and administrators, not all users. If you see an error and want a re-analysis, report it, and it will be done.
Additional AI Sections
In addition to the main entry, additional sections can be attached to a word — each with its own question for the model. For example, "connection with neighboring languages: Khmer, Lao, Sanskrit" or "typical mistakes Russian speakers make with this word."
On the word page, these are gathered under the heading More AI sections.... A section is either already ready (in which case it is simply displayed) or can be requested via the ✦ Generate "..." button. If something went wrong, use ↻ Retry; if you want a different answer, use ↻ Regenerate.
Sections can be:
- Public — visible to everyone and automatically added to every new analysis;
- Private — visible to the author and those they have shared it with.
To subscribe to someone else's private section, paste the received token into your Profile in the subscriptions field. After that, the section will appear for you on all word pages. You can also simply open the link with the token — then the section will be shown as a one-time view.

Your Requests
All analyses you have requested are collected in Profile → Requests (My AI Requests) with their statuses. This is a convenient way to return to those still in progress.
